Project in Bristol for 23sq.m of decking to hide an outdated 90's patio, along with gabion walls which act as bench seats.
New raised beds for growing fruit, vegetables plus two of the beds will be used as cutting beds for flowers.
A new border bed dug from scratch, edged with corten steel edging and planted predominately with an assortment of grasses. The brief was for it to be relatively maintenance free with seasonal interest and for the planting to disguise some of the garden boundary behind it. The bed also had a full irrigation system installed.
The whole plot was covered in grass and weeds when it was taken on, so effectively a blank canves. My plan included a series of raised beds placed diagonally, a seating area with homemade bench and an arched entrance tunnel. It's going to be super productive for the owner and has been getting admiring (or are they jealous?) looks from the neighbouring plot holders!
